<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a phase noise that is added by processing such as nonlinear processing by processing all of carrier wave phase capture control in a phase region. <P>SOLUTION: For a received N-phase PSK digital signal, a phase value of a difference resulting from subtracting a carrier phase predictive value that is an output of a carrier phase prediction filter, from a phase value resulting from orthogonal amplitude/phase conversion, is multiplied by N, the remainder of division by 2π is divided by N, and π/N is subtracted from the phase value, thereby obtaining the difference between a carrier phase wherein a symbol phase representing information to transmit is removed, and the carrier phase predictive value, namely, a carrier phase prediction error (carrier phase capture error). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
