PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic component for a safety cover of an outlet, capable of having a simple structure, being easily assembled, surely preventing dust and foreign materials from entering, and confirming shielding effect of an plug-in port of the outlet at a glance. SOLUTION: The elastic component 11 is arranged under the outlet and opens/closes the outlet by moving vertically and horizontally, as well as supports the safety cover which is limited in moving when oscillating. The elastic component 11 comprises a vertical elastic piece 11, a horizontal elastic piece 12, and a fixed piece 13. The vertical elastic piece 11 acts as a fulcrum of the oscillation to support a lower surface middle part of the safety cover, and biases the safety cover in upward direction towards the outlet. The horizontal elastic piece 12 biases the safety cover in horizontal direction towards under the outlet. The fixed piece 13 is fixed to the outlet socket. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
