PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door guard capable of appropriately preventing a door guard from incorrectly unlocking. SOLUTION: The door guard is provided with an arm 10 turnably connected through a pivot shaft 9 to either a door 8 or an entrance/exit frame 11 and a projection 12 fitted to either the entrance/exit frame or the door, and an insertion/desertion hole 18 in/from which the projection is inserted/put out by the rotation of the arm in the door closed condition and a guide groove 19 guiding the projection on opening the door, and further, provided with whirl stop means 21, 22a preventing rotation of the arm from the locking position where the projection is inserted in the insertion/desertion hole to the unlocking position where the projection is put out from the hole, slide guide means 21, 22a in which slide of the arm in the locking state is made possible, and a rotation guide means 21, 22b guiding the rotation of the arm from the locking position to the unlocking position. The rotation to the unlocking position of the arm by the rotation guide means through the release of rotation prevention by the whirl stop means from the slide of the arm by the slide guide means is allowed.
