PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for a vehicle power seat capable of sliding the seat by operating an operating switch even in case a relay switch welds etc. onto a contact to cause a motor-driving relay to be put in the output error sensed condition. SOLUTION: The control unit 10 of the vehicle power seat includes a control means 21 and two relay switches, and in case a working amount adjusting switch 2 is turned in the direction in which the seat is worked when one of the relay switches solely is put on in the output error sensed condition where the relay switch remains on continuously whether the working amount adjusting switch 2 is turned on or not, the control means 21 puts on the other relay switch so that the current is fed to the motor from the first named relay switch, and thereby the seat is put in service.
