PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the height of a curtain while the curtain is suspended and to smoothly open and close the curtain without applying excessive force to runners and curtain hanger. SOLUTION: The curtain hanger is provided with shafts 11 which are respectively provided with an engaging part 12 to engage with a runner 5 at an upper end part and which extend downward. At each shafts 11, at least two waveform protrusion strings 17 where 9 engaging protrusions 16 are arranged in a vertical direction are formed at intervals of 180°around the axis. A ring 20 provided with a fixing part 21 for fixing the curtain is provided in a state where it can externally be fitted to the shaft 11. At each ring 20, an engaging pawl 22 which engages with each engaging protrusion 16 of each waveform protrusion string 17 from from above though it rides over the protrusion 16 from below is formed. Grooves 18 and 19 are formed between the string of the protrusion strings 17. The grooves 18 and 19 penetrate to the lower end of the shaft deviating the upper part of the shaft 11 by nearly a half of the 180°around the axis without exceeding the engaging pawl 22 moves over the engaging part 12 riding over the highest engaging protrusion 16 of each protrusion string 17.
