<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a kink preventing catheter which retains and seals the kink preventing catheter. <P>SOLUTION: The connector connects a catheter which is made of silicone or the like and expandable in a radial direction to a catheter which is expandable not in the radial direction. The connector is equipped with a hollow first connection component, a hollow second connection component and a fixing sleeve. The hollow second connection component is connected to the first connection component by screwing. The second connection component has a rib which projects from the outer surface. The rib has a depressed notch. The fixing sleeve has ribs which project to the inside in the radial direction at each the end part. The rib at the second end part is stably engaged to the depressed notch. The rib at the first end part is located at a circumference of the outer surface of the first connection component. The fixing sleeve can move in one direction along an axis line of the first connection component.
