<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel device which has high detection accuracy and whose wiring space can be made narrow. <P>SOLUTION: A press position deciding means 35 of the touch panel device is equipped with: a calibration processing part 32 which determines a correction arithmetic expression on the basis of (1) specified coordinates previously set at at least nine points of corner parts of a detection area of a conductive film 22, the middle points between the respective corner parts and a center part, and (2) detected coordinates obtained by a detected coordinate acquiring means 33 by depression of the respective specified coordinates; and a correction arithmetic part 34 which calculates pressed coordinates, on the basis of the correction arithmetic expression, from the detected coordinates obtained by the detected coordinate acquiring means 33 by depression of an arbitrary position in the detection area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
