<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic dimming glass element which dispenses with an installation location of a solar battery, and need not pay attention to an installation location or appearance thereof at the time of arrangement thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The automatic dimming glass element is formed by sandwiching liquid crystal glass 2 and the transparent solar battery 1 by transparent glass sheets 3 on both sides. Preferably the automatic dimming glass element has an arbitrary number of liquid crystal glass pieces 21, 22, 23, etc. which are vertically or vertically and horizontally divided divisions of the liquid crystal glass, and an arbitrary number of the transparent solar batteries 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, etc., wherein the liquid crystal glass pieces have a common transparent electrode, and transparent divided electrodes for the respective divisions, and wherein the transparent solar batteries face the transparent divided electrodes of the liquid crystal glass pieces, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
