ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE IMAGE DEVELOPING TONER AND METHOD FOR FORMING IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roller with which an image of high picture quality with no fog can be obtained in any environment when used for development in an image forming apparatus such as an electrophotographic copying machine and a printer. SOLUTION: An electrostatic charge image developing toner to be used for nonmagnetic single component development is obtained by an emulsion polymerization aggregation method. The electrostatic charge image developing toner contains externally added fine particles in an amount of 0.5 to 3.5 wt.%. The method for forming an image by a nonmagnetic single component system is carried out by using the above electrostatic charge image developing toner as a developer. The outermost layer of at least one of a layer thickness regulating member and a developing roller both constituting the image forming apparatus is made of a material having the electrification property in the positive side than polyurethane in the relation of triboelectric series.
