PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for controlling communications between a plurality of transmitters and at least one receiver, without the occurrence of problems of competition. SOLUTION: The system comprises a plurality of cells, wherein each cell controls communications from a transmitter in the plurality of transmitters to the receiver. A single token flows through a ring which passes through the plurality of cells, wherein the presence of the token within a cell indicates that the corresponding transmitter communicates with the receiver. Furthermore, the system also comprises a plurality of receivers and a plurality of token rings, wherein each token ring passes one corresponding token in a token ring cell that controls communications from the plurality of transmitters to the receiver, corresponding to the token ring.
