PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic capsule preventing the generation of malfunction where ultrasonic observation becomes impossible by the depletion of a battery. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic capsule 1 has a capsule body 2, a body cover 3, and an oscillator cover 4, and a capsule 5 is formed by watertightly fixing and arranging the body cover 3 and the oscillator cover 4 in the capsule body 2. An ultrasonic unit 10 having an ultrasonic oscillator 11, a battery 6, a control section 7, and a power section 9 rotating and driving a wireless transceiver section 8 and the ultrasonic oscillator 11 are arranged within the capsule 5. The power section 9 employs the mechanism of the movement of a mechanical clock and is constituted a movement barrel 20, a row of rings 30, and an escapement speed control mechanism section 40, and rotates the ultrasonic oscillator 11 at a predetermined rotation speed for a long period of time. An ultrasonic tomogram is displayed on the screen of a display controlling the ultrasonic oscillator 11 in the control section 7 with the power supplied from the battery 6.
