PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric converter which assures small light-shielding coefficient and satisfactory photoelectric conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: The photoelectric converter comprises a transparent substrate 6, where a wiring conductor 5 is formed on the principal surface set to the light-receiving surface side of a photoelectric converting element 1 for converting light signal into electrical signal, and the photoelectric converting element 1 where one principal surface having a light-receiving surface 2 is bonded with a resin adhesive 4 to the principal surface of the transparent substrate 6, and an electrode is electrically connected to the wiring conductor 5. In this photoelectric converter, the transparent substrate 6 allows formation of a concave area 7 to the location facing the light-receiving surface of the principal surface.
