PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Schmitt circuit, the hysteresis width of which is made independent of a threshold voltage characteristic of transistors. SOLUTION: A voltage shifting higher an input signal voltage Vin by a threshold voltage of a transistor p12 is applied to a gate of a transistor n2 among transistors p1 to p3, and n1 to n3. When the transistors n2, p12 are designed to have the same threshold voltage, a voltage shifting the level of the input signal Vin by the threshold voltage of the transistor n2 is applied to the transistor n2.
