PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation structure of a house, and its construction method reducing the amount of excavated soil, enhancing resistance to the lift of a foundation and obtaining stable bearing power. SOLUTION: This foundation structure of the house is provided with a footing group foundation 15 constituted by burying a plurality of cylindrical footings 13, 13a having openings 11 at the bottom parts and cylindrical top parts 12 at the upper end parts, at a predetermined height level with horizonal spaces in the ground 14, and either one of a continuous footing and a mat foundation 17 provided connected to the footing group foundation 15 and mountable with the house 16 at the upper part.
