PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently save water without lowering washing performance or the like. SOLUTION: A dishwasher is provided with a water supply valve 11 for supplying the water into a washing tub 2, a water level detector for detecting a water supply amount, a washing pump 6 for pressurizing the supplied water, a jetting nozzle for jetting the water forcibly fed from the washing pump 6 to dishes, and a controller for controlling the water supply valve 11, the washing pump 6 and the operation of a preset washing course, etc. The jetting nozzle is composed by disposing a rotary nozzle 7a (7b) and a fixed nozzle 8 at different positions. The controller executes control to the water supply amount less than the one in a washing process in a rinsing process executed for two or more times in the washing course and also controls the washing pump 6 so as to intermittently operate it, and the water is intermittently jetted from the respective nozzles 7a (7b) and 8.
