PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent product providing appropriate water resistance, strength and air permeability in the circumferential edge of an absorbent core and other portions requiring the water resistance in particular, or fixing tape root part of a developing type diaper. SOLUTION: This absorbent product is provided with a leakage prevention sheet positioned in an underwear side of the absorbent core and covering the excrement. This absorbent product uses no film for the leakage prevention sheet but uses by folding and stacking a single or a plurality of sheets in the width direction or the longitudinal direction.
