PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel that permits an angler to perform free lure action without hindrance on practical fishing. SOLUTION: The fishing reel according to this invention is constituted so that a fishing line is wound up around a spool that is set up to a reel body 1 by rotary winding operation of a handle 5 attached to the side part of the reel body 1. Inside the reel body 1, an auxiliary driving part 70 is attached and the driving part 70 is actuated by swinging the reel body 1 whereby the fishing line is ancillarily wound around the spool.
