PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bait cutter in which block of krill can readily be crushed and a plate part stuck into the block of krill can readily be pulled out. SOLUTION: The bait cutter is formed of a plate part 1, a handle part 3 attached by screwing into a screw hole of a shaft part 2 rotatably fitted to a base end part of the plate part 1 and a grip part 4 fixed to the handle part 3. In the plate part 1, the rear half of a blade part 6 made of a metal is embedded and fixed into a base part 5 of a synthetic resin by insert forming. A wall part 5e standing along right and left side edges of the surface and rear surface of the base part 5 of the synthetic resin are provided and the wall part 5e is formed in a wedge shape which becomes higher as the wall part 5e becomes close to the side of the base end part 5a on the rear side.
