PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism material which parasitizes on a lawn rhizosphere, produces organic acids to adjust a soil environment where microorganisms living in soil, especially microorganisms for degrading lignin and the like act, and promotes the degradation of lawn thatch. SOLUTION: This Penicilium bilaii for promoting the degradation ability of the lawn thatch. A solid water-dispersing formulation for degrading the thatch contains the Penicilium bilaii.
