<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pen point having little fear of directionality in handwriting or writing feeling and capable of being set to various writing feelings. <P>SOLUTION: The pen point 1 comprises a center core 2 made of a fiber working material or a porous body of a synthetic resin and a holder 3 holding the outer peripheral face of the center core 2. The holder 3 is constituted of a compression molded synthetic resin or rubber elastic material. A peripheral covering part 31 covering near the fore end of the center core 2 is integrally formed at the fore end of the holder 3. The fore end of the center core 2 is projected forward from the fore end of the peripheral covering part 31. At writing, the fore end of the center core 2 is elastically deformed under writing pressure, bringing both the fore ends of the center core 2 and the peripheral covering part 31 into contact with face to be written simultaneously. The protruding length L protruding in the axial direction, wherein the fore end of the center core 2 projects through the fore end of the peripheral covering part 31, is set to not larger than the inner diameter D of the fore end opening part of the peripheral covering part 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
