<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable gas sensing apparatus of a new constitution capable of being easily constituted as a compact and convenient portable apparatus and high in convenience in use. <P>SOLUTION: The portable gas sensing apparatus is provided with an elongated, flat, and box-like housing capable of being gripped and held by a hand. A front half part in the housing is a functional part region in which a functional member on gas sensing operation is arranged, and its rear half part is a battery part region in which an electric power source for driving the functional member is arranged. In the functional part region, five gas sensors are arranged in a gas sensor arranging region of an L shape as a whole in such a way that one of the five gas sensors may be arranged at a bent part of the gas sensor arranging region and that two of the five gas sensors may be arranged in each row in horizontal and vertical directions of the gas sensor. A gas suction means for drawing a gas to be sensed from the outside by suction and supplying it for each gas sensor is arranged in a region partitioned from two directions by the gas sensor arranging region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
