<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exchange a lamp as a single body in a picture display projector. <P>SOLUTION: The lamp 2 has a lamp holding projecting part 23 projecting from the outer circumferential surface of a reflector 22. A lamp attaching member 6 is constituted of a plate 61 on which the reflector 22 of the lamp 2 abuts, and the plate 61 has a window 62, a leaf spring type member 63 and an aligning projection 64. The member 63 whose base end side 63a is fixed on the plate 61 and whose leading end side 63b is made open along the circumference of the window 62 has a holding recessed part 63c between the base end side 63a and the leading end side 63b. When the lamp 2 is placed on the projection 64 and is rotated clockwise, the projecting part 23 passes through space between the leading end side 63b of the member 63 and the plate 61 and is inserted in the recessed part 63c, and the lamp 2 is held in the member 6.
