<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for manufacturing a solar battery cell, in which a solder layer can be formed uniformly on the front surface of the electrode of the solar battery cell, without generating solder balls or solder thickness faults, and the decrease in the strength of the electrode of the solar battery cell can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing the solar battery cell includes a plurality of the solar battery cells, each having the electrode formed on the front surface and held in a wafer carrier, and a solder layer coating on the front surface of the electrode, by dipping the wafer carrier in a melting solder tank for holding the solder melting liquid. The apparatus further includes a convection means for forcibly convecting the solder melt liquid in the melting solder tank and realizing changing of the convection velocity. When the wafer carrier is dipped in the melting solder tank, the convection means is controlled to accelerate the convection velocity of the solder melt liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
