PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse cleaning piping subjected to fusion sealing. SOLUTION: The ink jet head comprises an ink jet head chip having an ink ejection opening in one end face, and a manifold fixed to the side part of the ink jet head chip and introducing ink thereto. The manifold is provided with an ink channel for supplying ink to the ink jet head chip, and cleaning piping communicating with the ink channel and extending outward in order to clean the inside of the ink channel.
