PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device for a push-pull lock, which can lock indoor and outdoor handles from inside a room, and can unlock the indoor and outdoor handles only by handling the indoor handle in an opening direction. SOLUTION: The locking device for the push-pull lock is comprised of a first engaging portion 71, a second engaging portion 72, a handling piece 74, and an energizing member 75. The first engaging portion is a recessed portion or a projecting portion formed in or on a pivotal portion rear surface of a pull handle 1 or a push handle 2 which has an inner locking mechanism 7 arranged on an inner wall side of a door 3. The second engaging portion 72 is the projecting portion or the recessed portion which is engaged with the first engaging portion when the pull handle 1 or the push handle 2 assumes a closed position, and disengaged from the first engaging portion 71 when the push handle 1 or the pull handle 2 assumes an open position.
