PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door check device in which roller sliding resistance has reduced, roller assembling work is easy and the drop out of rollers is prevented. SOLUTION: First and second shoes 122 respectively comprise first and second rollers 171 each having an open surface (a recessed part) 171a formed at the center of its rotary part at both ends thereof and capable of rolling on an arm 103, and first and second holders 181 each having a flexible engagement protrusion to engage with the open surface 171a at both end surfaces of the first and second rollers 171 to rotatably hold them and a contact protrusion to contact with respective two points near one and the other ends of the cylindrical surface of the roller 171.
