The invention relates to a neutral data computer control system for a multi- axial machine tool used to produce workpieces with a threaded surface. Said system comprises an optional computer system (1) for generating machine control parameters for a multi-axial machine tool (2, 2a), at least one virtual axis of which can be given parameters to act as a guiding axis for other axes and afterwards is only used to synchronise said other axes. The system also comprises at least one data processing unit and at least one memory, said data processing unit being programmed to generate at least one data carrier or an electronic carrier signal (3) with machine control parameters for the machine tool (2, 2a), or comprises an optional computer programme or corresponding computer programme product and at least one multi - axial machine tool (2, 2a) of this type.
