<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analog/digital common front end module having excellent distortion and S/N characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The analog/digital common front end module is provided with: a high frequency amplifier 9 for amplifying a high frequency signal received with an antenna 1; a frequency converting circuit 11 for performing frequency conversion to the output signal of the high frequency amplifier 9 and outputting an intermediate frequency signal; an analog demodulator 5; a digital demodulator 6; an analog/digital changeover switch 4 for supplying, by changeover, the output signal of the frequency converting circuit 11 to the analog demodulator 5 or the digital demodulator 6; and an AGC signal changeover switch 7 for controlling the gain of the high frequency amplifier 9 in response to a gain control signal obtained from the analog demodulator 5 in the case of receiving analog broadcasting, and controlling the gain of the high frequency amplifier 9 in response to a gain control signal generated from the output signal of the frequency converting circuit 11 in the case of receiving digital broadcasting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
