<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material inspection device capable of sufficiently enhancing the precision of inspection of a part to be inspected. <P>SOLUTION: The packaging material inspection device comprises a specimen holding part to hold a specimen, an inspection mechanism to inspect the condition of a part to be inspected in the specimen held by the specimen holding part, and a position detection unit to determine whether or not the specimen is correctly positioned with respect to the specimen holding part. Since the position detection unit determines whether or not the specimen is correctly positioned with respect to the specimen holding part, the specimen can be reliably positioned, and the precision of inspection of the condition of the part to be inspected can be sufficiently high. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
