摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectrophotometer in which the data level is not saturated or too small for an object to be measured of which the transmitted light amount greatly differs according to the difference in density of fruit and vegetables, the difference in thickness of an outer skin and the difference in dimension or the like in the same kind in an on-line type nondestructive test of fruit and vegetables or the like using near-infrared light or the like, and which can respond to the change of the transporting speed and stably measure with high throughput and with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: A main light receiving part and a sample light receiving part receive light which penetrats fruit and vegetables or the like, is dispersed and enters. First, a digital comparison operation of a digital value acquired from the sample light receiving part with a reference value previously determined is performed. After a gain of a variable gain type amplification circuit is set to an optimal value based on the operation result, a signal from the main light receiving part is read as digital data through the variable gain type amplification circuit, a zero compensation circuit and an A/D converter, and thereby proper wavelength characteristic data is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
