PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool in which a bed can be horizontally and stably supported by supporting at three points even if it is the machine tool with a moving tool rest. SOLUTION: The machine tool is provided with a work base for supporting a work, the tool rest for supporting a working blade, a work base mounting part 11 for mounting the work base, the bed 10, which has a tool rest mounting part 12 for mounting the tool rest freely movably in the direction perpendicular to the direction to the work base in a plane view, and three supporting devices, which horizontally support the bed 10 to an installation face at total three points of one point (a supporting point S1) on the lower face of the work base mounting part 11 and two points (the supporting point S1) separating in the moving direction of the tool rest on the lower face of the tool rest mounting part 12.
