PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top cover fixing structure in which positioning stability of a top cover can be enhanced in the height direction while enduring repetitive fixing work and removing work, and screws required conventionally for fixing the top cover can be eliminated. SOLUTION: A front panel 1 is arranged in the front, a top plate 2 is fixed to the rear side such that the forward end is located on the inside of the front panel 1 in order to position the front panel 1, a top cover 3 is arranged on the upper surface side of the top plate 2 and on the lower surface side of the front panel 1, the top cover 3 is fixed to the top plate 2, cut openings 2b extending from the upper surface to the side face of the top plate 2 are bored in the bends 2a at the right and left corners, and a trapezoidal elongated recess 3a constricted inward is formed in the sidewall of the top cover 3 at a position corresponding to the cut opening 2b such that the top plate 2 enters the trapezoidal elongated recess 3a of the top cover 3 when it is applied to the top plate 2 and being positioned fixedly, thus fixing the top cover 3 to the top plate 2.
