PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply input part structure, provided with a lightning protecting repeater with a simple structure and a method of assembly, able to be attached between an existing plug and a receptacle, and which is superior in its maintainability. SOLUTION: A lightning protecting repeater 10 is engaged and connected to a receptacle, attachable to an electronic equipment and to a plug connected to a power cable. The repeater 10 is provided with an arrestor assembly 11 and a shell 41 containing the arrestor assembly 11. The arrestor assembly 11 is provided with 2 pieces of contacts 13, engaged and connected to the receptacle and a contact of the plug, an insulator 17 for retaining the contact 13 insulated from the shell 41 and an arrestor 25 inserted between the contacts 13. Each contact 13 is provided with male-type connection parts 14A and 14B, formed on both ends and spring seats 15 formed between each male-type connecting parts 14 and the arrestor 25 is inserted between the spring seats 15 via springs 29.
