PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which prevents improper accessing of a flat flexible cable, such as FPC. SOLUTION: The connector 1 is constituted of a male housing 11 and a female housing 31. Key grooves 21, 24, key a groove part 26, and a notch 23, and keys 45, 65 and projections which are respectively engaged with the key grooves 21, 24, the key part 26, and the notch 23 are formed on a face the faces where the female housing 11 and the male housing 31 face each other along the engaging direction.
