PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a scintillator material and scintillator material holding structure from permeation of an internal moisture source and circumferential moisture to restrain an X-ray image from being deteriorated. SOLUTION: This X-ray detector assembly 1000 includes the scintillator material 3 arranged on a detector matrix array 20 arranged on a detector base material 1, and an encapsulating coating 4 arranged on the scintillator material 3. The encapsulating coating 4 is combined with a monochloro-poly-para-xylylene layer and a poly-para-xylylene layer. In one embodiment, the poly-para-xylylene layer is disposed to cover the scintillator material 3, and a monochloro-poly-para-xylylene layer is disposed to cover the poly-para-xylylene layer.
