PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cylinder block which can share parts in manufacturing the cylinder block and can set connecting rod ratio in an optimal range. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the cylinder block, a first cylinder block is manufactured through a combination of an integrally molded block body including a cylinder and a skirt and a block outer wall having a structure corresponding to the block body, and a second cylinder block set to have a displacement smaller than that of the first cylinder block is manufactured through a combination of a block body where the length of the cylinder is changed by processing the end on the opposite side to the end of the cylinder positioned on the skirt side and a block outer wall having a structure corresponding to the block body.
