PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine cooling device capable of warming up an engine main body satisfactorily. SOLUTION: A cooling circuit R in which cooling water for cooling an engine 1 circulates is provided with a flow-in passage 7 for letting cooling water flow in from one side in the direction of cylinder arrangement in a water jacket 4 of a cylinder head 2 and a flow-out passage 8 for letting cooling water in the water jacket 4 flow out from the other side in the direction of cylinder arrangement. Warm cooling water in the cooling circuit R is stored in a heat storage vessel 14 by keeping it warm and flows into the water jacket 4 of the cylinder head 2 through supply passages 15 provided by corresponding to each cylinder when starting the engine from a cold condition. An opening and closing valve 17 closed to shut off the flow-out passage 8 when cooling water in the heat storage vessel 14 flows into the water jacket 4 is provided in the flow-out passage 8.
