PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for printing which is excellent in stability in a printing position, inking properties and a plate wear, a printing plate fixing sheet used for it and a method for mounting using it. SOLUTION: The printing plate fixing sheet to be placed between a printing plate material which has a hydrophilic layer, an image forming functional layer and a back coating layer on a polyester film substrate, and a plate cylinder of a printing machine, is characterized by having a surface specific resistivity of a face brought into contact with the printing plate material of≥1×10<SP>8</SP>Ωto≤1×10<SP>15</SP>Ω(23°C, relative humidity 20%).
