PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding machine which can be operated at higher speeds by enabling a ball screw mechanism to be rotated at as high speed as possible. SOLUTION: In this molding machine which is equipped with the ball screw mechanism for linearly moving a linear movement member by converting the revolution of a servomotor into a linear motion, a ceramic ball is used as a ball of the ball screw mechanism, and an output shaft of the servomotor and a rotating part of the ball screw mechanism are coupled together on the same straight line by using a coupling.
