PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy of detection by surely fetching pressure waveform for the whole period from the start to the completion of pressure-attachment and always making the optimum positioning performable. SOLUTION: The pressure to which the base plate 1 of a terminal pressure-attaching device is subjected is detected with a pressure sensor 10 and the reference waveform for showing the change of the pressure value at prescribed time intervals on the basis of the output of the pressure sensor 10 when normal pressure attachment is performed is generated and preserved. The output waveform of the pressure sensor 10 and the reference waveform are compared at inspection and the signal of the defective pressure attachment of the terminal is outputted when difference between the output waveform of the pressure sensor 10 and the reference waveform exceeds a prescribed value. At this time, the priority order is set to a plurality of feature points of the output waveform and the positioning of the waveform is performed at one or a plurality of points which are selected from them according to the priority order. The output waveform of the pressure sensor is fetched and preserved before the start of the pressure attachment of the terminal with the terminal pressure-attaching device and the output waveforms during the whole period from the start to the completion of the terminal pressure attachment are fetched as the object of comparison.
