Headband device for an oxygen mask, and method for the production thereof

Headband device (1) has a flexible band part with upper and lower band sections (3, 4) for transmitting mask-retaining forces required for applying an oxygen mask. Sections of the band part are made from a foamed plastic material. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Application device comprising the headband device; and (2) Process for the production of a headband device. Preferred Features: The band part is formed by injecting a pore-forming plastic material into a tool molding chamber. The plastic material is cut in the region of its outer surface.
