<p>The multistage oil pump for IC engines comprises an outer gear-type control pump which produces the compression stage and an inner gear-type pump which produces feed stages. A first gearwheel (3) in the outer pump is mounted on the same shaft (15) as a first gearwheel (13) in the inner pump. Second gearwheels (5, 18) in each pump rotate about axes (4, 20) which are parallel and offset from each other. The axis of the gearwheel (20) in the inner pump also acts as the axis of the drive shaft for further stages.</p> |
