The product is treated with an aqueous plastic dispersion and then with an aqueous wax dispersion. The aqueous plastic dispersion is applied in portions, in at least two stages, the composition in the portions being varied. The dispersions have different penetration. In at least a last stage, the plastic dispersion contains a proportion of wax. An independent claim is included for the corresponding cement product.
