A method of characterizing an electric circuit of an electric device, a system, an electric device and a test device are provided. The system includes: a signal generator for generating a test signal having a radio frequency band spanning at least a portion of a frequency response range of the electric circuit; a load modulator for modulating the load with the test signal, thus generating a response signal in the electric circuit; and a correlator for generating cross-correlation between the response signal and the test signal. <IMAGE>
