Low-temperature pyrolysis assembly for the separation of steel from rubber found e.g. in used tyres, rubber-mantle chains, scrapped electronic products

A low-temperature pyrolysis oven (1) assembly separates steel hydrocarbon materials from used tyres. The assembly has a pre-heating chamber (26) and a cooling chamber (27). The oven is linked by an effluent gas pipe (10) to the pre-heat chamber. The burner (4) exhaust gases heat both the oven and the pre-heat chamber. The assembly further incorporates a pyrolysis gas condenser (12), a separator (23) for pyrolysis gas and oil, a pyrolysis oil tank (22) and an excess gas burner for the pyrolysis gas. Each reactor has a removable cover and is batch-loaded by an overhead hoist (8).
