<p>A weighting device for use on the head of an athletic ball striker (10) as during swinging of the striker, the club having a handle (10a), comprising in combination a metallic weight or weights (20); means for carrying weight or weights (pocket or pockets 13 positioned on sleeve 13) and configured to be applicable adjacent the striker ball striking portion, and retained (18) to or near a ball striking portion (10b), and to retain weight or weights in position against dislodgment during swinging of the striker; and means being manually removable off the striker (see figure 1).</p> |
