The extendable bed (22) in a vehicle is in two sections (23,24) with at least one support foot on the second section. The support foot is connected to the second extendable bed section by at least one shaft and eye hinge which is installed on a connecting piece between a tubular section of the support foot and a frame of the second extendable bed section. Locking elements are provided for the locking of the support foot in two positions. At least the locking elements of the shaft and eye hinge consist of an elastically deformable plastic.
