The dioptric component, formed by injection moulding, is made from a polymer material with a molecular mass of between 20,000 and 40,000. It is between 1 and 20 mm thick and solid, e.g. in the shape of a Fresnel lens or a lens used in an elliptical headlight module. The material has a deformation temperature under a load of 1.8 MPa of between 170 and 185 degrees C, and a preferable refraction index of between 1.62 and 1.65. |
