<p>A vibration damped handgrip, e.g. for a power hand tool, has a cylindrical outer grip (2) spaced over an inner core grip (3). The core is connected to the machine via elastomer blocks (3a) clamped between supports and incorporating a damping mass (4) between two parts of the elastomer block. The elastomer material is selected to dampen a wide range of frequencies and has reduced risk of resonance.</p> |
