Combustion engine has cylinders, pistons, cylinder heads, inlet and outlet channels, valves, combustion chambers and injection valves. Each cylinder head (5) has a cylindrical part of the combustion chamber (8) that is concentric with the cylinder (2). The injection valve is positioned so that the fuel jet (7) is tangentially near to the inner surface of the cylindrical part of the combustion chamber.
